The Reliance Promise

Matched with a caregiver in 48 hours, or your first week is on us.

A public, written commitment. Not marketing. The same promise we make to every family in Lucas County and the eleven Northwest Ohio counties we serve.

The numbers behind the promise

48 hrs

From assessment to matched caregivers

7 of 10

DSP applicants we reject before hire

24/7

On-call RN for clinical questions

88

Ohio counties certified for DODD waivers

How the 48 hours work

Four steps. One clock. Real names on the calendar.

  1. 01

    You request an assessment

Two-minute form, or call a coordinator directly. A real person in Lucas County answers or calls back the same day.

  2. 02

    In-home assessment within 24 hours

A coordinator and (when clinically indicated) an RN meets the family, the home, and the situation. We map waiver options, hours, and the kind of caregiver who will fit.

  3. 03

Two to three matched caregivers in 48 hours

We pull from our pre-screened bench and present profiles picked on personality, language, schedule, and care needs. You meet them. You pick.

  4. 04

    Care begins on your timeline

Most families start within 48 to 72 hours of the assessment. We hold the schedule, file the paperwork, and run the first-week check-ins.

The fine print, not buried

What counts. What does not.

We publish our terms because the promise is real. If something here is unclear, ask your coordinator. We will explain it in plain English before you sign anything.

  • The 48-hour match guarantee applies to personal care clients only. Waiver clients (IO, SELF, Level One, and local funds) follow county authorization timelines, which we manage end-to-end but cannot guarantee against.

  • Applies to new private-pay personal care clients in our Lucas County and Northwest Ohio service area.

  • Clock starts when the in-home assessment is complete and a care plan is signed.

  • 48-hour window covers business days (Mon to Fri). Weekend assessments push the clock to the following Monday.

  • If we present fewer than two qualified matches within 48 hours, your first week of care is free and your intake fee is waived.

  • Medicaid waiver starts (IO, SELF, Level One) and local-funds placements follow county authorization timelines, not the 48-hour clock. We will tell you up front what to expect.

  • Specialty clinical placements (skilled nursing, behavioral specialty) may require additional time. We will disclose this at intake before the clock starts.

Questions families ask

Honest answers about the guarantee.

Why can you promise this when other agencies cannot?
Most agencies treat caregivers as interchangeable and recruit reactively. We keep a screened, trained bench in Lucas County and our coordinators triage every new family the day they call. The math works because the work was done before you called.
Does this apply if I am using a Medicaid waiver?
Caregiver matching still happens within 48 hours. The actual start date may depend on your county case manager and waiver authorization. We file the paperwork, follow up with the county, and keep you posted weekly.
What if I do not like the caregivers you present?
Tell us why. We pull again from the bench until the fit is right. No back-and-forth fees, no pressure to settle.
How do I claim the free week if you miss? (private pay clients)
Email contact@reliancecaresolutions.com or call your coordinator. We honor it on the first invoice. No fine print, no forms. The free-week guarantee applies to private pay clients.
